Hôtel Du Baou

Quite good welcoming receptionist. We need to wait a bit to check in because the room wasn't ready yet and he offered us a good coffee. The hotel is in a very quiet position and it's cheap being not too far from Nice/Cagnes SM/Saint Lauren du Var. Rooms have also a little kitchen. This is great!

They have everything! The air condition didn't work, but they called me and explained the situation prior to my arrival. They offered me a free cancelation. We liked vending coffee machine and drinks. They have elevator to higher floors and the view is wonderful. You can see whole Nizza from this hotel.

Looking at the reviews this hotel seems to get some negative reviews but we found that for the price it was very nice. We were only passing through so only stayed one night but everything was fine. It isn't a luxury 5-star but it was clean and had a nice breakfast. It is up on the heights of Nice with good views.

The staff, the breakfast open from 7am up to 10am at least. The location without road near by. The view on the balcony.

The hotel was very pleasant and all staff (especially Ion) were extremely helpful and friendly. Facilities were well kept and one could see the work and dedication put in everything.
